I enjoyed myself a lot, but without proper guide (thanks Hen City guest ) I would be completely miserable and wouldn't know what to do in preper manor and full sanity levels - I'm really dumb like that with puzzles in game and IRL. You wonder around, doing back and forth to progress, to reach the end, that is maaaaaaaaaaaaybe kinda predictable, but still will leave uncomfortable feeling inside you. There is not much into the mechanics, you walk left-right-forward-backwards, interact with things, but that doesn't matter at all, because story is the meat of this game. Let me say from the get go - this is one BEAUTIFUL looking, sounding game, with great atmosphere and lore behind it. I was always sure, that eventually I get to the point of playing it.
Year Walk was game I had in my library for quite a long time.
